FORMACIÓN PARA PROFESORES DE ESPAÑOL COMO LENGUA EXTRANJERA ITALÓFONOS, ELE USAL TORINO – ZANICHELLI
From November 2020 to February 5, 2021 ELE USAL Torino, the only Spanish Language School of the University of Salamanca in Italy, has delivered an online Professional Development Program for Italian-speaking ELE teachers, in collaboration with the prestigious publisher Italian Zanichelli.
Almost 200 teachers have been trained through the methodology of the University of Salamanca in a 50-hour program, structured in two modules, through the ELE USAL Virtual Campus platform
Zanichelli has managed the communication with the professors and attended to their technical doubts about the operation of the course and the platform; ELE USAL Torino has been in charge of taking teachers by the hand -in an extremely practical way- towards the discovery of skills, techniques, the profile of the teacher of Spanish as a foreign language in the 21st century.
The objective for this course -both at ELE USAL Torino and at Zanichelli- has been to try to lay the first stone of a community of Italian-speaking Spanish teachers who, due to the differences in their academic-professional profiles, will find in this type of training -innovative and revolutionary in Italy-, a reference for your teaching needs, especially when it comes to harmoniously integrating face-to-face didactics and the use of digital media in your classes.
The excellent reception that the course has had in terms of participation and the data from the end-of-course surveys show that all the expected objectives have been achieved.
We are all very satisfied with the results and both the ELE USAL Torino School and the ELE USAL Central want to thank the teachers for their enthusiasm, their strength, their capacity for cooperation: they have been involved in improving their training at a very difficult time for the teaching and for society as a whole, and this is the greatest value that this experience has left us, which we hope to repeat.
