ELE USAL Beijing participates in the most important educational fair in China
China Education Expo (CEE) is an education fair that has been organized since 2000 by the China Education Association for International Exchange in Beijing, Shanghai and other Chinese cities, attracting approximately 60,000 visitors annually. It is a leading event in the sector and thanks to which different educational institutions, both public and private, can promote themselves and attract Chinese students. Representatives from some 40 countries participate in the fair annually, among them are: Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, Korea, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, the USA, Spain, Estonia, the Philippines, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, and Thailand, etc. totaling more than 600 foreign institutions.
The participation of Spanish institutions in the EEC has been organized by ICEX Spain, Trade and Investment/Education Office of the Spanish Embassy in China, which has been carrying out this task since 2003. It is worth mentioning that in 2013 Spain was the Country of Honor Guest at the China Education Expo 2013, the year that celebrated the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and China.
ELE USAL Beijing has participated in the Fair as a franchised center of the University of Salamanca. During the event, he presented to the public the facilities and the privileged location of the School, its team, which has extensive experience in teaching ELE, its training offer and the advantages of studying Spanish at the School. In addition, he informed the public about the University of Salamanca, its prestige in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language, also about its degrees and master's degrees and its International Courses. During the exhibition there were many visitors who showed interest in studying Spanish at ELE USAL and later continuing with their studies at USAL, many requested information on different training programs.
It should be noted that a raffle was held by ELE USAL Beijing. The winners of the raffle obtained a 1000 yuan coupon that will be redeemable for a Spanish course at ELE USAL Beijing. In addition, the Spanish Export and Investment Counselor (ICEX) in Beijing gave the School its support at all times.
In addition, for students and parents who could not attend the fair in person, ELE USAL Beijing broadcast the event via streaming throughout October 25 and in which Mr. José Miguel Sánchez Llorente, CEO, also participated. of the Schools of Spanish Language and International Courses of the University of Salamanca. In his speech, Sánchez Llorente presented the University of Salamanca and its International Courses, and also answered students' questions about the possibilities of studying at the University of Salamanca.
The Fair has been a complete success for ELE USAL Beijing and has more than met the objectives pursued: to publicize the University of Salamanca, as a reference center in the teaching of Spanish in the world, and to attract the largest possible number of students to the school ELE USAL Beijing.
