Visit of Kiwanis-Augusta Torinorum and our Turin school.

These days the headquarters of the Spanish Language Schools of the University of Salamanca has received a visit from Adriana Valente, responsible for social initiatives of the Kiwanis-Augusta Torinorum association of Turin. In the summer of 2022, the association offered, through ELE USAL Torino, five specialization scholarships on Spanish teaching to Italian-speaking teachers from Piedmont, in an intensive course taught by Cursos Internacionales USAL. Valente was accompanied by the director of ELE USAL Torino, Monica R. Bedana.

The scholarship included, in addition to the intensive classes in the morning - taught with the methodology of the University of Salamanca -, cultural activities in the afternoon (visits to museums and monuments in the city, literary routes and even tapas) and the stay in university residence, with full board. The professors greatly enjoyed their stay both on an academic and human level, discovering and living the culture of Salamanca, a World Heritage City, and that of our University.

The management of the Spanish Language Schools appreciates the visit and hopes to soon collaborate again with the Kiwanis association for teacher training, since the future of new generations around the world depends on good teacher training.
