ELE USAL firma un acuerdo para la apertura de 51 escuelas en China con la empres ZIXI Technology Developement
The Spanish Language Schools of the University of Salamanca, hereinafter ELE USAL, expand their presence year after year at a national and international level. On this occasion, it does so with the signing of the Zone Developer contract for China, which will mean, within 10 years, the opening of 51 ELE USAL Schools that will be added to the 6 Schools already existing in China.
The ELE USAL zone developer project in China is created by the company Zixi Technology Development Co., Ltd. The company Zixi Technology Development Co., Ltd. http://www.zixichina.com/en/, its Activity is focused on research and education in new technologies, artificial intelligence, production and installation of 3D printing equipment, technology support for the Health Industry. The training area has been developed mainly in secondary schools, institutes and universities. To date, they have trained more than 200,000 teachers and students throughout China, among their clients are The High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China (the number 1 school in China), or the Beijing No. 35 High School (the best technology school of china).
Nineteen are already the centers that are part of the network of Spanish Schools of the University of Salamanca. These are located in very attractive cities from a linguistic and cultural point of view such as Barcelona (ELE USAL Barcelona), Mallorca (ELE USAL Mallorca), Estepona (ELE USAL Estepona), Alicante (ELE USAL Alicante) and Gran Canaria (ELE USAL Gran canary). Internationally, the Spanish Language Schools of the University of Salamanca are present in eight countries, Brazil (ELE USAL Cuiabá and ELE USAL Belo Horizonte), France (ELE USAL Strasbourg), Portugal (ELE USAL Lisbon), Italy (ELE USAL Turin), Poland (ELE USAL Warsaw), Costa Rica (ELE USAL Costa Rica), United States (ELE USAL Houston) and China (ELE USAL Zhengzhou, ELE USAL Hinggan League, ELE USAL Qingdao, ELE USAL Chengdu, ELE USAL Xi' an and ELE USAL Fuzhou). All these enclaves are cities that favor linguistic and cultural exchange between native students of different languages and their teachers, who work with an innovative methodology from the University of Salamanca, where personal learning is taught through cooperative work, from a from a communicative point of view through the task-based approach methodology, through which the student is taught to be able to function adequately in daily and professional settings in cultural contexts typical of Spanish-speaking countries.
The signing of this Zone Developer agreement in China coincides with the promulgation of the decree law that, at the end of last year, introduced Spanish as a subject in the curricular plan of the Chinese Baccalaureate, together with the evaluation of this subject, therefore, in one of the toughest university entrance exams in the academic field, the well-known Gaokao.
Many are the specialists who consider that the future of Spanish is found in the Chinese-speaking students and this is the reason why the Central ELE USAL continues to open the market in the People's Republic of China. Likewise, the expansion of the franchise network of the Spanish Language Schools of the University of Salamanca is a sign of the importance and recognition of the University of Salamanca as a benchmark for the teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language in the Republic.
