Our school in the Balearic town is in luck as it has just inaugurated new facilities and it has done so during the celebration of the Mallorca Works Internship Project. From now on, the students of this school attend the new premises located on Calle Mateu Obrador, becoming a center with more than 800 square meters.
The event was held on February 25 and was attended by numerous personalities from the Balearic scene such as the Island Director of Tourism of the Mallorca Council, Lucía Escribano, or the Councilor for Tourism, Health and Consumption Elena Navarro. In addition, our director of ELE USAL Rubén Ramírez was present.
The event was presented by its management team Magdalena Torrens and Pere Joan Gelabert, both involved since 2014 in training and educational tourism through Spanish as a foreign language. In that same year, ELE USAL Mallorca was created as one of the first schools endorsed by the University of Salamanca and that throughout this time has established itself as one of the most important schools on the national scene.
ELE USAL Mallorca is a center accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, becoming a reference center in the teaching of Spanish for the preparation of official exams such as DELE, SIELE and CCSE, as well as training in courses of different levels, Spanish for companies, etc. Nor should we forget that it is a center accredited by official certification organizations such as CSN and BILDUNGSURLAUB in Sweden and Germany respectively.
In 2017 they joined the Erasmus Plus program, becoming a receptive organization for students, teachers and trainers who participate in international mobility projects. As a result, collaborative synergies arose with various organizations throughout Europe, becoming known as a company that facilitates and guides the search for professional experiences.
As a result of this growth, Internship MallorcaWorks emerged in 2021, an entity specialized in project management of the Erasmus Plus program. This new company provides training in various areas, offering its participants the possibility of carrying out their professional practices in companies from different sectors, making them their best ambassadors. Magdalena Torrens has shown a passionate enthusiasm for the franchise and a wonderful business solvency that she has been able to transmit to her entire team.
